Financial Services Junior Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for a junior administrator to join our team here at Applewood Independent.

Applewood Independent have been providing independent financial advice to the people of Staffordshire and South Cheshire since 1998. We specialise in advice on investments, pensions and inheritance tax planning, including onshore and offshore trusts and investments. 

The role would include processing new business and monitoring its progress through to completion including the contract notes and preparing valuations along with other general administration to support the team of administrators.  

Ideally you should have a couple of years of Office Administration experience within a professional environment and it would be to your advantage if you have any basic knowledge of Investments and Pensions although the candidate will be trained and developed within the business.  We would ideally be looking for someone with good A level grades as a minimum and ideally locally based in or around the Nantwich area.

 The role comes with a range of benefits as detailed below.

    • 27 days holiday, (not including bank holidays) with 3 of these to be used for between Christmas and New Year
    • 5%+5% pension following the completion of a probationary period
    • 4 times death in service following the completion of a probationary period
    • Full support for exams including – study books, exams + some resits, question packs, opportunity for study courses.  A bonus and a salary increase is also paid for each exam which is passed, for level 3 exams this is a bonus of £250 per pass and a £500 salary increase per exam passed.
    • Bonus which is linked to profits and discretionary, split to twice yearly and pro rata for your first year.

Financial Services Administrator

We have an exciting opportunity for an administrator to join our team here at Applewood Independent.

The role would include producing suitability reports, preparing applications, producing illustrations and processing new business along with other general administration.

We are looking for someone hard-working and reliable who demonstrates strong attention to detail. You must have experience in the Financial Services industry and ideally some exam passes. Ideally you will also be locally based in or around the Nantwich area.
